How do security systems work?
A burglar alarm is intended to protect homes and businesses and their occupants whether they are there or not. They do this by integrating peripheral security devices with the system's control panel. In the event one or more of the peripheral devices is initiated, the control panel triggers a local siren to locally warn of the event and sends a signal to a monitoring station so the proper authorities can be notified.
